Run jobs based on hostname

Description
Currently, to add a host you must supply a hostname as well as an ip address. I'm assuming (possibly incorrectly) that all jobs run using the ip address specified rather than the host name. Doing so would result in a lot of extra work should the ip of a host be dynamic or changes to the ip scheme happens.
